Whew, I’ve been on the internet applying for jobs the last few days. Boy does that take a lot of time. Unfortunately I didn’t get either of the jobs I hoped for at fabric.com. Boy that was a disappointment. But oh well back to the drawing board as they say. I have out about 1/2 dozen more applications we will see what happens with those. In the mean time I am here at the shop and we are packing and cleaning out. I got a lot of inventory for pocket books I purchased from the mart in Atlanta. Thinking about posting those on this site to see if I can just get my money back out of them. Not real sure I have enough traffic to bother with that tho. I’ve been around reading and posting to other sites but not many seem interested enough to stop in here. If they are not many of them comment. Linda , (so sweet) is the only one who takes the time to leave me little notes of encouragement. So if you are reading this thanks Linda! I better sign off now and get back to throwing stuff away.
Your welcome, Jackie! I am much more inclined to leave comments for just-starting-out bloggers than those who have 30 comments already. When I started my blog, every comment was so nice. If you have the time, you might join a swap – that’s always a nice way to get to know other bloggers.
I’m sorry to hear about the jobs at Fabric.com. I must say I dislike interviewing SO much, so I don’t envy you, but I hope something that you’ll enjoy comes your way. I have no experience in embroidery, but I’m wondering if you could market yourself to local shops in town, ones that sell baby items, or even leave your card at the local schools – teachers are always having baby showers and they seem to be the ones that always bring monogrammed stuff to showers I’ve been to.
Happy cleaning.
